Bindery Teams Up With ‘Last Podcast on the Left’ for a New Horror and Fantasy Imprint
Bindery Books is expanding its creator-led publishing model with a new imprint from the horror and true crime podcast Last Podcast on the Left. Last Press on the Left will launch in fall 2027 with M.I. Minaeva’s debut novel, Saint’s Hotel, and will focus on fresh voices in horror, sci-fi, and dark fantasy.
Bindery Books is bringing one of podcasting’s most recognizable genre brands into publishing. The company announced that Last Podcast on the Left, the horror and true crime series hosted by Ed Larson, Marcus Parks, and Henry Zebrowski, is launching a new imprint called Last Press on the Left.
The imprint is set to debut in fall 2027 with Saint’s Hotel, the first novel by M.I. Minaeva. According to the announcement, the book follows a French architect who discovers the real version of a town he has imagined since childhood, cannot leave, and is pulled down through a shape-shifting hotel into the hell beneath it. Bindery said RB Media has already preempted audio rights to the novel for a six-figure sum.
The new imprint will not stop with one title. Bindery said Last Press on the Left will curate a list of “fresh new voices” across horror, sci-fi, and dark fantasy, positioning the podcast team as both tastemakers and acquisition partners for emerging fiction. For a company built around creator-led publishing, the move extends its bet that audiences gathered around a trusted cultural voice can translate into a readership for new authors.
